I just wrapped up a lovely evening on my web cam. Tonight, I had the immense pleasure of seeing a longtime client of mine. This person is a cross dresser of many years, and I love dressing him up and giving him fashion tips and feedback :)
Enter my point of contention: While watching a popular late night show (and may I say that I absolutely LOVE this particular late night host!), I sat through joke after joke making fun of Eric Brewer.
For those of you who do not know, Eric Brewer dropped out of the East Cleavland mayoral race after photos of him clad in womens lingerie were leaked to the media.
I understand that it is human nature to bolt at what goes against the norm … at what is quote-un-quote weird. But as someone who knows many transvestites and cross dressers on an extremely candid level, I can’t help but find all of the jokes and media portrayals of these people to be extremely cruel and offensive.
Okay … off to bed.
